SHRDC to Commission Research Study on "Attaining Food and Nutrition Security in South Asia"

SHRDC will commission a research study on "Attaining Food and Nutrition Security in South Asia". The main objective of the study is to assess food and nutrition security situation in South Asia. The study would explore modalities of attaining food and nutrition security in SAARC Member States. It would suggest plan of action for food and nutrition security in SAARC Member States. The study will help policy maker of SAARC Member States for attaining food and nutrition security.

SHRDC to Commission Research Study on "Network of Centres of Higher Learning, Training, and Skill Development"

SHRDC will commission a research study on "Network of Centres of Higher Learning, Training, and Skill  Development". The main objective of the study is to promote and support the initiation  and furtherance of HRD  programmes within organizations  of higher learning and skill development at regional level to enhance their capacity and competitiveness. The study would provide a regional viewpoint on issues and strategic developments in the area of HRD  in the SAARC Region. It would provide an important forum for exchange of information, experiences, expertise and services, training and skill development.
